Our alcoholic beverages are not sold to persons under the age of 18.

The consumer has the right to notify the company that he renounces the purchase, without payment of any penalty and without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the day following the delivery of the good. To return a product, first contact our customer service department. Send an e-mail with the following details: order number, the item, bank account number and reason for return. We will contact you as soon as possible regarding the further follow-up of the return. The products must still be in their original, unopened packaging. After notification of the return, the consumer has 14 days to return the product. We will refund the order amount due within 14 days of receiving your return.

The return shipping costs will only be reimbursed by Wijnkasteel BVBA if you received a different product than you ordered or if the product arrived damaged. Only the shipping costs of the standard postal rates will be reimbursed. The products can also be sent by registered mail, but in the event of a refund only the shipping costs will be reimbursed as if it were an ordinary return. Wijnkasteel.com may refuse a return if the packaging has been opened or the products have been damaged by the customer.

We aim to deliver your order to your home within approximately 10 business days. When the item ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. We will keep you informed of your order status on a weekly basis. Wijnkasteel BVBA cannot be held liable for any delays in delivery. If an item is out of stock with us, we will inform you of this. You will then be given the choice to wait until the product is back in stock, or cancel the order free of charge. 

For pre-order products, the product will be shipped on the release date, please note that this release date is indicative and subject to change by our suppliers. You will receive a shipping confirmation via email as soon as the product is shipped. Wijnkasteel.com cannot be held liable for any delays in delivery.

In order to properly execute our agreements, it is sometimes necessary for us to use third parties.

• For example, we use payment services such as Mollie to make payments easy.

• In some cases, we may also be required to store certain personal data and/or to disclose it to government agencies. Think of tax reasons or police requisition.

• For sending packages we work together with other organizations such as Sendingwines. If we do not communicate your personal data, we cannot send a package by name and delivery will be compromised.

Payment is possible Bancontact/MisterCash (Belgian bank cards), Ideal (Dutch bank cards), Mastercard, Visa. In the case of a bank transfer, the order will be processed from the moment the money is in the bank account. For a bank transfer from a Belgian account, this may take 1 to 2 business days, for a transfer from a Dutch account, this may take 3 to 4 business days.

Applicable law and competent courts: Belgian law is applicable to this site. In case of a dispute, only the courts of the district of Tongeren have jurisdiction.
